Download Illustra

Installing

1. Open the downloaded file, Illustra-1.0.0.msi. It installs for your Windows account, so you don't need administrator rights.
2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new apps until they build up a download history.
3. Open Illustra from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut.
4. Create your free account, or sign in. You must be at least 16.
5. The first time it opens, Illustra downloads its AI model (about 480 MB, more on some paid plans). After that it works without the internet.

What you need

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
• About 1 GB of free disk space for the app and its AI model, and more for the larger models.
• 4 GB of memory or more is recommended.
• An internet connection to create your account and download the AI model.

Updates

When a new version is out, Illustra tells you on its Home screen. Download and run the new installer: it updates Illustra in place, and your notes stay as they are.
